7th IEEE Singapore International
Conference on Communication Systems (ICCS) 2000
20th to 24th November 2000
This biennial conference series, started in 1988, aims to draw world-renowned experts in the exciting field of
telecommunications to the communications hub of South-East Asia, Singapore, to share the latest ideas in
communication theory and applications. In the millennial edition of the series, we plan a conference of outstanding quality
through a rigorous and open review process handled by our team of experts on the Technical Program Committee.
Papers on all aspects of communications and especially on the following topics are solicited:
Multiuser detection and information theory
Synchronization and channel estimation
Multicarrier modulation
Cellular mobile communication
Signal processing for communications
Error control coding and modulation
Modelling and analysis of fading channels
High-speed networks
Queueing and scheduling
Wireless networks and wireless ATM
Multimedia and Internet communications
Quality of service, traffic modelling and control
Antennas for mobile communications
Linearization techniques
Passive device technology
Propagation/channel modelling and measurements
Optical wireless networks
Prospective authors are requested to submit full papers for review. Electronic submissions are strongly encouraged,
instructions for which will be posted on our web page as soon as possible. Hard-copy submissions are also permitted,
and three copies of the manuscript should be sent to -

Papers will be rigorously reviewed by the Technical Program Committee, and reviewers' comments will be relayed to
the authors in the interest of transparency. Selected papers of a good quality will be published in a book by a reputed
international publishing house. Please e-mail the organisers to ask to join the conference mailing list, and to propose
tutorial topics.
TUTORIALS

Prospective tutorial speakers are invited to submit proposals to the
Conference Secretariat. Each proposal should include
