Objective
The objective of WPMC '00 is to continue and accelerate the existing momentum for establishing a
GLOBAL FORUM for Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications.
Intensive research and development activities, which are taking place at a breathtaking pace to create
third/fourth generation wireless multimedia communications that will lead and navigate the human race in the
21st Century, will be under discussion in this Symposium.
SEAMLESS GLOBAL WIRELESS PERSONAL MULTIMEDIA CONNECTIVITY will be the theme of
this Symposium, to be held in the hub of Asia-Pacific region, the fastest growing region of the world.

Proposals for tutorial: June 1, 2000
Notification of acceptance: August 1, 2000
Camera-ready copy: September 1, 2000
The authors of papers, once accepted, will be asked to prepare a camera ready paper to appear in the
conference proceedings.
