- Business and Industry Symposium
- High Performance Computing Symposium
- Military, Government, and Aerospace Simulation Symposium
- 34th Annual Simulation Symposium
- Applied Telecommunication Symposium
- Infrastructure Protection and Emergency Management Symposium
- International Symposium on Semiconductor

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SEMINARS
One day is reserved for technical seminars sponsored by The Society,
offered, for additional fees, as a service to the simulation community.
These seminars, prepared and presented by experienced experts, provide
tutorial and advanced material compatible with the content of the
Advanced Simulation Technologies Conference.
EXHIBITS
The Advanced Simulation Technologies Conference provides Corporate
Members and other vendors, offering products and services compatible
with the technical program, a low-cost opportunity to display on a
tabletop or with free-standing equipment. The program provides specific
time blocks designed to enhance vendor contact with attendees who are
eager to learn about new products for simulations and simulators.
REQUIREMENTS
Proposals are solicited for papers, panels, tutorials, workshops,
seminars, exhibits, social activities and for other presentation,
discussion and sponsorship formats. Good people are always welcome to
benefit by taking an organizing role. The ASTC offers many ways to
promote simulation products and to enhance corporate images. You are
invited to use the Advanced Simulation Technologies Conference in ways
that best serve your interests.
Please send a paper abstract or other proposal, on one side of a
single 8 1/2" x 11" page to: Chair, Advanced Simulation Technologies
Conference, c/o SCS, P.O. Box 17900, San Diego, CA, 92177, by October
31, 2000. Proposals received after this date will be considered as long
as time and program space permit. Include full names, affiliations,
addresses, and phone numbers (office and home) for each author or
participant. Attach, or copy, business cards if available. Each abstract
must include the title of the proposed paper, with a short summary, so
that it may be properly positioned in the ASTC. Indicate on the page
that the proposal is for the 2001 ASTC and please suggest which
Conference, track, group, and session is most appropriate, first and
second choices.
Notifications of acceptance or rejection are sent on or about November
30, 2000. Acceptances include either an author's kit with complete
instructions for manuscript preparation, or a participant's kit with
instructions regarding conference attendance.
Camera-ready copy of accepted papers and all other material to be
included in Conference Proceedings must be received at the SCS office by
January 11, 2001. Only papers that have not been previously published or
presented should be submitted. Authors must obtain employer, client, or
government releases prior to submittal of the final manuscript.
Authors and other participants are expected to register early, and to
participate at their own expense.
