ICACT2001 will provide an open forum for researchers, engineers, policy makers, network planners, and service providers in telecommunications. Extensive exchange of information will be provided on newly emerging systems, standards, regulations, services, and variety of applications in the area of telecommunications. * SCHEDULE ------------------------------ * Full Paper Submission Jan. 6, 2001 * Acceptance Notification Jan. 10, 2001 * Camera-ready Paper Jan. 15, 2001 * ----------------------------------------- * PLACE OF CONFERENCE: Muju Resort is famous as the country's longest ski slope and greatest uplift. Muju Resort opened in 1997 is one of Asia's top places for skiing. The Hotel Tirol complex with huge 742-bedroom includes a grand ballroom capable of holding 700 people with a five-language simultaneous translation system in place. It hosted The Winter Universiade '97 Games and is located in an area of great historic significance and natural beauty. Temperatures fall below zero between November and April and the snowing season lasts for about 120 days. You can enjoy skiing in two-ski areas, Mansonbong Peak and the new Solch'onbong Ski range, which opened in 1997.
