The 3rd International Conference on Advanced Communication Technology
(ICACT2001) will be held on February 8-10, 2001, in Muju resort, South
Korea. ICACT2001 will provide an open forum for researchers, engineers,
policy makers, network planners, and service providers in
telecommunications. Extensive exchange of information will be provided on
newly emerging systems, standards, regulations, services, and variety of
applications in the area of telecommunications.

* PLACE OF CONFERENCE: 
Muju Resort is famous as the country's longest ski slope and greatest
uplift. Muju Resort opened in 1997 is one of Asia's top places for skiing.
The Hotel Tirol complex with huge 742-bedroom includes a grand ballroom
capable of holding 700 people with a five-language simultaneous translation
system in place.
It hosted The Winter Universiade '97 Games and is located in an area of
great historic significance and natural beauty. Temperatures fall below
zero between November and April and the snowing season lasts for about 120
days. You can enjoy skiing in two-ski areas, Mansonbong Peak and the new
Solch'onbong Ski range, which opened in 1997.

* INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS: 
All manuscripts should be written in English, but can be prepared in free
style for the review. All submitted papers will be reviewed by the
technical program committee, The title page should clearly include the
name, the mailing address, the e-mail address, the fax number of the
author(s) and the topic area(s) of the submitted paper(s). After acceptance
notification, the author(s) will prepare the final camera-ready manuscript
of maximum six (6) IEEE double-column formatted pages. For the review,
electronic submission of papers in MSWORD or PDF file is preferred. Typing
instructions for accepted full papers can be downloaded
from <http://icact.nca.or.kr/2001>
 
If electric submission is not possible, four copies of the full paper
