IP-Based Cellular Networks (IPCN) 2001
The Fourth Generation Cellular Networks
All-IP cellular networks are currently considered by the
wireless/cellular industry.Building and designing such networks that
mainly rely on the IP protocol is still a challenge and drain a lot
of research and developpement activities by industry and academic
research laboratories. The objectives of IPCN 2001 is to provide a
state of the art of the current research and developpement progress
and to present an overview of the current IETF and 3GPP activities in
this area.
IPCN 2001 will take place in Paris on May 15 to 18. The conference
will convene the most eminent specialists in these emerging
technologies. Most of them work in the research world. However large
companies as well as service providers will also be on hand to
explain their own approach.
