                                       Second Call for Papers

ICON is one of the most successful conferences held annually in 
the Asia Pacific region, and provides an international forum for
experts from academia, business and industry to promote, share
and discuss various issues and developments in the broad field 
of Computer and Communication Networks. 

ICON2001 in Bangkok, Thailand follows the very popular events 
held in Singapore and Australia in the past two years. The theme
of ICON2001 will bed the new millenium networking technology, 
and provide a forum to discuss recent advances in Computer 
Networks and Communications.

Paper Submission 
------------------------------
Authors are invited to submit their papers of not more 
than 12 pages of single column text using double spaced 
10-12 point size type. Electronic submission is encouraged
and preferred. Please send PostScript (preferred), MS-Word or PDF 
version of your paper(s) and an ASCII version of the cover 
page. The cover page includes the title, technical area(s) 
into which your paper falls and each author's affiliation. 
All submitted papers will be reviewed by three international 
reviewers and evaluated on the basis of technical quality, 
relevance, significance and clarity. All electronic submissions 
can be sent to icon2001@mut.ac.th. 

Four hardcopies of the paper and the cover letter by regular 
mail are required if electronic submission is not possible. 

Each selected paper (limited to 6 pages) will be published 
in the Proceedings of ICON2001 published by IEEE Computer
Society Press.
