Outline:
The Internet Performance Symposium covers all aspects related to the
collection of information useful to understand the performance of
portions of the Internet and/or of corporate Intranets/Extranets, or,
more generally, of IP-based networks. The symposium thus covers all
aspects relating to: measurements performed over IP networks tools
and techniques for the simulation of IP networks analytical modeling
paradigms for the investigation of the performance of IP networks

Call for Papers

The Internet Performance Symposium covers all aspects related to the
collection of information useful to understand the performance of
portions of the Internet and/or of corporate Intranets/Extranets, or,
more generally, of IP-based networks.

The symposium thus covers all aspects relating to:
- measurements performed over IP networks
- tools and techniques for the simulation of IP networks
- analytical modeling paradigms for the investigation of the performance of IP networks

Papers are requested in the following areas:
- Models of aggregate Internet traffic
- Models of Internet traffic sources
- Models of TCP
- Models of IP routers
- Simulation tools for IP networks
- Efficient techniques for the simulation of IP networks
- Techniques and tools to measure the performance of IP networks
- Results of performance studies of IP networks
- Provision of QoS guarantees in IP networks
- End-to-end QoS in IP networks
- QoS in wireless/mobile IP networks
- Experimental results on QoS
