GLOBECOM 2001, worldwide communications conference will be held this year in the richly
historic city of San Antonio, Texas. San Antonio serves as a wonderful conference location with
many amenities, events, and unique places to enjoy.
The theme for the conference, "The Evolving Global Communications Network", awakens the true
feeling that the world communications network is forming, changing, and growing at a
tremendous rate. A global conference, GlobeCom, is critical to the industry by continuing to
teach new ideas within traditional communications technology, while adding many of the next
generation theories and practices.
