General Aims

The Aachen Symposium on Signal Theory is a periodic event. It
focusses on a specific area of R&D and is more a workshop than a
conference. The objectives are

- to provide a platform for presenting new ideas, results and ongoing works, 
- to foster the discussion of future directions, 
- to catalize close cooperations between R&D groups. 

The intension of the subtitle of the symposium is to set the frame
for the scope and objectives. Constributions are expected to concern
to the listed items.
