We are pleased to announce ICICS2001, the Third International 
Conference on Information, Communications and Signal Processing  
to be held in Singapore from 15 to 18 October 2001. This is a 
biennial series of conferences and is sponsored by the School 
of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Nanyang 
Technological University and technical co-sponsored by the 
IEEE Communications Society, IEEE Signal Processing Society, 
IEEE Singapore Section, IEEE Communications Chapter Singapore, 
and IEEE Signal Processing Chapter Singapore. 

The conference will cover the areas in Information Engineering, 
Communication Systems and Signal Processing. There will be 
tutorial sessions as well as invited sessions. Papers describing 
original work in but not limited to the following technical 
areas are invited: 

MULTIMEDIA SYSTEMS              COMPUTER SYSTEMS
SIGNAL PROCESSING                           COMMUNICATIONS
NETWORKING

Submission of Papers: Authors are invited to submit an extended 
summary of about 1000 words or a full paper via ONLINE PAPER 
SUBMISSION at http://www.ntu.edu.sg/home/icics2001 or as an email 
attachment (postscript, pdf or Word format) or 3 hard copies to 
the Secretariat at the address given below.
