Wireless Extensions to the Internet

Over the last several years there has been considerable interest 
in wireless extensions to the Internet from Industry and academia. 
The October 2001 issue of Computer Communication Review will be 
a special issue on wireless extensions to the Internet. The goal 
of the special issue is to present recent developments in 
wireless IP networks. 

We are soliciting full research papers, survey articles and 
work-in-progress on the following broad set of wireless IP topics: 

o Extensions to Mobile IP 
o Micro-Mobility Protocols 
o Wireless IP QOS 
o IP-based 3G Networks 
o Wireless LANs, PANs, MANETs, and Sensor Networks 
o TCP Performance over Wireless Networks 
o New Mobile and Wireless Applications 
o Mobile IP Telephony 
o Service-Enabled Wireless IP Gateways 
  
The submission details are as follows: 

Papers due: May 15, 2001. 
Authors notified: August 15, 2001. 
Camera ready due: September 15, 2001. 
Publication date: October 2001.
