CALL FOR PAPERS

     General Information
ICC 2002 will be held in New York, NY USA from 28 April to 2 May 2002.
The conference site is the New York Marriott Marquis, which is located
in the heart of the Broadway Theater District. The conference will
consist of Tutorials, Workshops, Business Application Sessions, and
Technical Sessions. The Technical Sessions are structured as part of
eleven planned Symposia that will be held simultaneously (same dates
and location). Attendees will have full access to all Symposia. All
accepted papers (after peer review by experts in the field) will be
included in the ICC2002 Conference Proceedings. The Technical Sessions
will describe significant research as well as innovative development
and applications.

In addition, two other special attractions will make ICC2002 an
exciting event to attend.

First, throughout 2002 the IEEE Communications Society will be
celebrating its 50th Anniversary.

An important part of the year-long celebration will be a "Grand
Reunion" at ICC2002, which will include a number of special events.

Second, at ICC2002 the IEEE Communications Society will launch IEEE
Communications Expo, a major new exposition focused on new products
and new services in telecommunications.

We are now soliciting original papers describing state-of-the-art
research and development in all areas of communications. Proposals for
panels, tutorials, and workshops should be submitted to the respective
chairs.
