  There will also be a student paper competition (see student paper competition for
  detailed description). 


Deadlines

Submission of papers: September 15, 2001 
Notification of acceptance: November 15, 2001 
Camera-Ready paper: December 15, 2001 



Instructions for submission 


  Authors should send 

       two hardcopies of original papers in English and include name,
       affiliation, address, e-mail addresses and/or fax numbers of the
       author(s) on the title page 
       a short abstract of a statement (max. half a page) explaining the
       originality of the paper, its applications and relation to work done in
       the field so far. 

  The manuscript should not exceed 3600 words resulting in a final paper of at
  most 6 pages including figures, tables, and references. Shorter papers should
  consist of an even number of pages. Since the manuscript will be scanned
  for electronic purposes, authors are encouraged to send the paper (in
  addition to the hardcopies) in electronic form (ps or pdf-format). The
  final version of accepted papers can be submitted as LateX Postscript or
  MS-Word files according to the Author Kit to be provided. The deadline for
  submission of paper is September 15, 2001 .
