CALL FOR PAPERS
The IEEE International Conference on Networks (ICON2002) will be held
in Singapore. Two days of tutorials and two days of technical
presentations are planned for the conference. The conference will also
include invited speakers, poster presentations and an exhibition.
ICON2002 will provide a forum to discuss the recent advances in
computer networks and communications. Contributions describing
original research, surveys and applications are solicited. Topics of
interest include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

Submissions of original, unpublished papers on various aspects of
mobility in computer networks are particularly encouraged. All
submitted papers will be internationally reviewed and accepted papers
will be published.
PAPER SUBMISSIONS INSTRUCTIONS
The paper should present original, unpublished research and be no
longer than 5000 words. The submission should include a cover page
containing the title, author name(s), complete address (telephone,
fax, email) for all authors, indication of the corresponding author,
and an abstract (100-150 words), followed by keywords and one or more
areas of interest from the list above.

Submission of paper(s) implies the authors' willingness to register at
the conference and present the paper(s). An accepted paper will be
published in the proceedings only if the final version is accompanied
by the registration form and fee for at least one of the authors. One
author registration will guarantee publication of up to only two
accepted papers.
SPECIAL SESSION / PLENARY SESSION PROPOSALS
Proposals for Special Sessions/Plenary Sessions are also solicited.
Proposals may be submitted to the Conference Co-Chair, Lee-Yee LAU via
email at icon2002@sp.edu.sg by January 1, 2002.
TUTORIAL PROPOSALS
Proposals for full- or half-day tutorial topics including but not
restricted to these areas are solicited: high-speed networks, mobile
and wireless networks, optical networks, network security and advanced
internet. Each proposal should be about 1000 words long and should
include a synopsis, tutorial outline and brief biography of the
speaker. Please submit your proposals to the Tutorial Chair,
Yew-Chiong LOH via email at icon2002@sp.edu.sg by March 1, 2002.

Notification of acceptance: May 1, 2002
Camera-ready paper due: June 15, 2002
