Multicarrier modulation (MCM) techniques have been proposed for digital TV
broadcasting and high speed wireless networks over multipath channels. A
promising MCM technique is Orthogonal Frequency Division Modulation (OFDM),
which is a method of transmitting data simultaneously over multiple frequency
bands. OFDM is commonly implemented using Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT)
techniques. OFDM offers many advantages such as simple equalization. OFDM is
one of the best digital transmission methods for the next generation of
wireless and mobile communications systems. Applications include wireless
local area networks (LANs), wireless ATM, digital video broadcasting (DVB),
digital audio broadcasting(DAB), the broadband wireless local loop, mobile
satellite services, wireless data networks and others.
This special issue is concerned with all aspects of Orthogonal Frequency
Division Modulation (OFDM)

In this special issue, we are seeking papers in the following three main
categories:

     *  Survey papers
     *  Industrial/Application papers
     *  Research/Technical papers

The guest editors invite various researchers in the area to submit their work
that is original, unpublished, and not currently under review by another
conference, workshop, or journal. Topics of interest include but not limited to
the following:

     *  Peak-to-average power control
     *  Channel measurements
     * Coded OFDM and Space-time coded OFDM
     *  Performance evaluation
     *  Multicarrier-CDMA
     *  Multi-user OFDM
     *  space-division OFDM
     *  Implementation and testbed experiments
     *  Standardization activities.

The guest editors encourage the authors to submit their manuscripts as an email
attachment to one of the guest editors, or to provide a URL with a PDF or
postscript version of their manuscript. Detailed instructions to authors can be
found in: http://www.interscience.wiley.com/jpages/1530-8669/authors.html
