   PRELIMINARY CALL FOR PAPERS AND PARTICIPATION

   The 22nd International Performance, Computing, and Communications
   Conference
   Co-sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on the
   Internet and the IEEE Communications Society 
   April 9-11, 2003    Phoenix, Arizona
     _________________________________________________________________

   The   International   Performance,   Computing,   and   Communications
   Conference  is the premiere IEEE conference presenting research in the
   performance  of  computer  and communication systems. For the last two
   decades, IPCCC has been a research forum for academic, industrial, and
   government researchers.
   We encourage submission of high-quality papers reporting original work
   in  both  theoretical  and  experimental  research  areas.  Topics  of
   interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

     Network Security
     Power-aware Design
     Grid Computing
     Survivable Networks
     Performance Evaluation
     Embedded System
     Storage Systems
     Information Assurance
     Mobile and Ad-hoc Networking
     Mobile and Ubiquitous Systems
     Network Protocols and Performance
     High-Performance Computing
     Mobile and Networked Applications
     Internet Computing
     Web Server Performance
     Wireless Networks

   Submitted  manuscripts  must  not  exceed  20 pages with 11-point font
   size. All papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format.

   In addition, proposals are solicited for the following:

    . Half or full-day workshops on relevant topics.
    . Panel sessions on topics of timely importance.
    . Half  or  full-day  tutorials  on  innovative  topics related to the
      conference.

   Full  papers  are  due extended to October 4^th!
   Tutorial, workshop, and panel proposals are due October 4, 2002.
   Notifications of acceptance will be made by December 1, 2002.
   Camera-ready manuscripts and registrations are due December 21, 2002.
