IP-Based Cellular Networks (IPCN) 2003
Evolution from WLAN hot spots
Paris, June 17-20, 2003
WLAN hot spots are currently the most attracting topics for the companies
and startups involved in the future of mobile networks. Moreover, in 3
years, another Internet run is expected based on 802.11 LANs.
Building and designing such networks that mainly rely on the IP protocol is
still a challenge and drain a lot of research and developpement activities
by industry and academic research laboratories.
IPCN has been for four years now one of the most interesting event focusing
on the evolution of mobile networks in connection with the Internet
protocol.
One of the most interesting new areas of IPCN is the relationship between
the licensed 2.5/3G services and 802.11 hot spots. How can optimal use be
made of both environments such that a realistic business service is
possible?
The objectives of IPCN 2003 is to provide detailed responses to this
question.
IPCN 2003 will take place in Paris on June 17 to 20, 2003.
The conference will convene the most eminent specialists in these emerging
technologies.
