General 
 
The EUNICE network (http://www.eunice-forum.org/) has been created to foster the 
mobility of students, faculty members and research scientists working in the field of 
information and communication technologies and to promote educational and 
research cooperation between its member institutions. 
 
EUNICE'2003 will be the ninth of the EUNICE Summer School events. The main goal 
of the EUNICE Summer School is to give the researchers and particularly the Ph.D. 
students the opportunity to present their work at international level. For this ninth 
occurrence, EUNICE'2003 will be associated with the IFIP WG.6.3. 
 
In addition to the research paper presentations, a number of tutorials, presented by 
experts in the field will be given. 
 

Call for Contributions  

Researchers and Ph.D. students from institutes connected to the EUNICE network as 
well as from other institutions are invited to contribute.

Types of contributions 
 
Regular Contributions: 
  
Authors are invited to submit original papers, which will be reviewed for presentation 
and publication in the conference records. Papers should be written in English and 
not exceed eight single-spaced A4 pages, 12-point Times New Roman style, 2 
columns. The cover page should include name, affiliation, complete postal address, 
homepage and e-mail-address of all authors. 
 
Tutorials: 
 
Each EUNICE member institution is cordially invited to present tutorials (approx. 75 
minutes) at the Summer School. Prospective tutorial speakers are kindly asked to 
submit proposals covering one or more of the technical areas indicated above. The 
tutorial proposals should include a brief outline and the speaker's full postal address, 
phone and fax numbers, homepage and e-mail-address.

Only electronic submissions will be accepted; the format should be PDF or Postscript 
(PS). Electronic submissions should be sent to:

Venue: 

The conference will take place in Hotel Uni, the holiday house & conference centre of 
the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, at Lake Balaton in Balatonfüred.  
Balatonfüred, lying 120 km south-west of Budapest on the northern shore of Lake 
Balaton is a famous health and holiday resort. Special transportation by bus from 
Budapest to Balatonfüred and back will be arranged. The train connection between 
the two places is also frequent. 
Hotel Uni is a three-star hotel in the centre of Balatonfüred next to the Lake Balaton 
(http://www.hotels.hu/uni).
