3rd New York Metro Area Networking Workshop (NYMAN 2003)
Call for Presentations
The New York Metro Area Networking Workshop will be a one-day meeting
with presentations selected from extended abstracts. Topics of
interest include, but are not limited to:
- Peer to Peer Networking
- Internet Measurement and Characterization
- Web and Content Distribution
- Wireless and Mobile Networking
- Sensor Networking
- Multimedia Networking and Streaming
- Resilient Networks
- Network Security
- Network Control and Architecture
It is expected that submissions will reflect work-in-progress and
early ideas, though presentations of more mature work are always
welcome.
Submissions are limited to three pages. The submission should address
why the problem is of current interest, what's new about your
problem/approach and how your results will impact the networking
community. The submission should also provide some preliminary
results.
Submissions will be reviewed by the program committee. Accepted
presentations will be selected based on interest, novelty, and
importance of the topic. In other words, at this workshop, a
high-level discussion about a new and interesting idea is preferred
over a rigorous evaluation of an old and not-so-interesting idea.
