The Fourth International Conference on Software Engineering,
Artificial Intelligence, Networking and Parallel/Distributed Computing
(SNPD'03) provides an international forum for scientists throughout
the world to present research results in the areas of software
engineering, artificial intelligence, networking and
parallel/distributed computing. The conference particularly welcomes
contributions at the junction of theory and practice disseminating
basic research with immediate impact on practical applications. The
conference will cover a broad range of topics including theory,
methods, applications, and tools structured into the following tracks:

This year's SNPD conference will be held at the Mövenpick Hotel in
Lübeck, Germany. The Hanseatic town of Lübeck is located close to the
Baltic Sea with frequent train connections to major airports. The
picturesque medieval town was appointed as world cultural heritage by
the United Nations.

Submission of Papers & Conference Proceedings & Journal
We solicit research and experience papers in all technical areas
listed above and related fields. The first page should indicate the
title, the authors with address, affiliation, e-mail, phone and fax
numbers, the topic area of the paper and the contact author. The paper
should include an abstract, 5-7 keywords, and a conclusion. The
program committee will review each submission and judge it with
respect to its originality, significance, and relevance. All accepted
papers (up to 8 pages) will be published in the conference proceedings
with ISBN. Submission, refereeing, and all correspondence will be
conducted over the internet. Please upload your full paper (not

After the conference, authors of scientifically excellent papers will
be invited to submit an extended version for publication in a special
issue of the International Journal of Computer and Information
Science. Prof. Dosch will be the guest editor of this special issue.
