   Scope

   ICOIN is a successful series of conferences, which succeeds the Joint
   Workshop on Computer Communications (JWCC) starting from 1986. ICOIN
   is to bring together researchers and engineers interested in the
   practical and theoretical aspects of information networking areas such
   as Internet technologies/applications, communication network systems,
   network protocols, distributed systems, multimedia applications,
   network security, and mobile/wireless computing

   Topic

   With the rapid requirement for ubiquitous networking, ICOIN 2004 will
   provide an opportunity to consider whole network architecture,
   protocols, and services.
   Areas of interest include the following aspects of:
   * Mobile Internet and Ubiquitous Computing:
       Include Mobile IP protocols, Mobile Internet, Transmission devices
   including RFID and RF tag, Mobile Access, etc.
   * Network Security:
       Include NETWORK security, NOT to cover mathematical study of
   encryption.
   * QoS, Measurement and Performance Analysis:
       Include QOS related protocols and algorithms, measurement tools
   and equipment, analysis methods, and etc.
   * High-Speed Network Technologies:
       Concerned with the switching, routing and its integration.
   Reliable Multicast, and Advanced Internet protocols, and etc.
   * Next generation Internet architecture:
       IPv6 and its transition, Active Network, and etc.
