Scope
ICOIN is a successful series of conferences, which succeeds the Joint
Workshop on Computer Communications (JWCC) starting from 1986. ICOIN
is to bring together researchers and engineers interested in the
practical and theoretical aspects of information networking areas such
as Internet technologies/applications, communication network systems,
network protocols, distributed systems, multimedia applications,
network security, and mobile/wireless computing

Topic
With the rapid requirement for ubiquitous networking, ICOIN 2004 will
provide an opportunity to consider whole network architecture,
protocols, and services.
Areas of interest include the following aspects of:
* Mobile Internet and Ubiquitous Computing:
Include Mobile IP protocols, Mobile Internet, Transmission devices
including RFID and RF tag, Mobile Access, etc.
* Network Security:
Include NETWORK security, NOT to cover mathematical study of
encryption.
* QoS, Measurement and Performance Analysis:
Include QOS related protocols and algorithms, measurement tools
and equipment, analysis methods, and etc.
* High-Speed Network Technologies:
Concerned with the switching, routing and its integration.
Reliable Multicast, and Advanced Internet protocols, and etc.
* Next generation Internet architecture:
IPv6 and its transition, Active Network, and etc.
* Internet Application: VoIP, SIP, ENUM, and etc.

Paper and Proposal Submission
Electronic, PDF-based submission of papers is mandatory. You can use
the web interface for submissions of your papers (see Submission
Instructions at http://www.icoin2004.or.kr). If you should have
further questions, please contact icoin04@icoin2004.or.kr. All papers
accepted for presentation in the conference will appear in the
proceedings which will be available to workshop participants during
the workshop. Selected qualified papers published in the proceedings
will be reviewed again, revised, and published separately as
hard-copied and electronically by Springer Verlag, Heidelberg,
Germany, in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science Series after
conference.

Submission of Camera-Ready Format
Authors whose papers have been reviewed and accepted for publication
in the proceedings are required to modify their papers according to
reviewers' comments and the Springer-Verlag guidelines and to send the
modified papers in camera-ready form. Please note that we will accept
camera-ready papers in LaTex format only.
Submissions of camera-ready papers must be accompanied with the
complete registration and payment made in full based on the published
rates. Otherwise the inclusion of the paper in the proceedings can not
be guaranteed. Authors are obliged to follow the LNCS's guidelines in
preparing their manuscript including the 10-page limit. Authors can
obtain them at http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html.
