FIRST CALL FOR PAPERS FIRST INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON CONTROL, COMMUNICATIONS, AND SIGNAL PROCESSING ISCCSP 2004 21-24 MARCH 2004, HAMMAMET, TUNISIA The First 2004 IEEE-EURASIP International Symposium on Control, Communications, and Signal Processing will be held in Hammamet, Tunisia on March 21-24, 2004. The Symposium is sponsored by the IEEE and EURASIP. For more information, visit http://www.suvisoft.fi/isccsp04. ISCCSP 2006 will be held in Morocco in 2006 and will be chaired by Prof. Mohamed Najim. The Venue: The Symposium will be held in the Occidental Hotel, Hammamet. Known as Tunisian Saint Tropez, Hammamet is an attractive tourist town celebrated for its sun bathing on spotless beaches, dining on the patio of a beachfront hotel and midnight swims. The technical program will include invited plenary lectures, regular technical sessions, and special sessions covering three major tracks: control, communications and signal processing. Invited Plenary Lecturers: Dr. Sergio Benedetto, Italy Dr. Khaled Ben Letaief, Hong Kong Dr. Thomas Huang, USA Dr. Petar Kokotovic, USA Dr. Lennart Ljung, Sweden Dr. Dirk Slock, France Regular sessions will include poster and lecture sessions. Papers are sought across all areas of the three major tracks, including theory, implementations and applications aspects. Special Sessions: Several special sessions will be held during the symposium. Proposals are solicited for special sessions (see website). For paper submission, a maximum 4-page FULL paper (in standard IEEE double-column format), including title, authors' names, affiliations, e-mail addresses, and abstract are requested. Papers must be submitted electronically in PDF or postscript format through the online system. ONLY ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. The official language of the symposium is English. All papers will be peer reviewed by the ISCCSP Technical Program Committee. The FULL papers are due on October 31, 2003. Authors are expected to present their paper at the Symposium. At least one author of each paper MUST register for the Symposium for papers to be included in the program.
