EXTENSION OF SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR IEEE HPSR 2004

IEEE HPSR 2004 Workshop Paper Submission Deadline Extended till November 7,
2004

In response to many requests for further extension of the deadline for IEEE
HPSR 2004, the Technical Program Committee of IEEE HPSR 2004 has decided to
extend of the deadline till November 7, 2004. Please note that no further
extension of the deadline will be possible. Due to very stiff competition,
many high quality papers could not be accommodated in IEEE Infocom 2004. If
you are author of such a paper, you might consider it for submission to IEEE
HPSR 2004, which is an excellent forum for dissemination of novel ideas to
the networking research community. Further information about IEEE HPSR 2004
can be found on the workshop website: http://hpsr2004.asu.edu

April 18-21, 2004, Phoenix, Arizona
http://hpsr2004.asu.edu

The scope of the High Performance Switching and Routing (HPSR) Workshop is focused on the
technology of high-speed switches and routers, including architectural and algorithmic aspects of
high-performance networks. HPSR 2004 will comprise of technical sessions for presentation of
novel research results, panel sessions for discussion of hot topics, and tutorials by leading experts.
We encourage submission of high-quality papers reporting original work in both theoretical and
experimental research areas. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following:

Routing Protocols Optical Networks Protection and Recovery
MPLS and GMPLS Traffic Engineering Performance Evaluation
Sensor Networks Pricing and Charging High Speed Packet Processors
Quality of Service Traffic Measurement Mobile and Ad-hoc Networking
Wireless Networks Network Management Switch and Router Architecture

Papers must be unpublished and must not be submitted for publication elsewhere. All papers will be
reviewed by the members of the Technical Program Committee and other experts in the field.
Authors of accepted papers must attend the workshop to present their contributions. Papers must be
