ACS/IEEE International Conference on Pervasive Services (ICPS'2004)
American University of Beirut, Lebanon, July 19-23, 2004
http://icps2004.cse.ogi.edu
Pervasive services and computing are emerging as the next computing paradigm
in which infrastructure and services are seamlessly available anywhere,
anytime, and in any format. This exciting new paradigm is the result of
recent research and technological advances in wireless & sensor networks,
mobile & agent computing, autonomic computing & services, and active
networks. The 2004 ACS/IEEE International Conference on Pervasive Services
(ICPS'2004) is a forum for researchers, engineers, application & service
developers and users to present their latest advances in the field of
pervasive computing and services.
Original contributions are solicited in all pervasive computing & services
research and applications. Topics include, but are not limited to:
. Pervasive and autonomous computing and Architecture
. Mobile Computing
. Wearable Computing
. Smart Devices and Networks
. Wireless & Sensor Networks
. Middleware support to enable & administer pervasive computing
. Pervasive computing and Management
. Speech processing / advanced computer vision
. User interfaces and interaction model
. Positioning and Tracking Technologies
. Programmable and active networks
. Service dissemination and discovery protocols
. Environments & algorithms for pervasive application development
. Runtime support for intelligent, adaptive agents
. Security services for applications in pervasive environments
. Programming paradigms for pervasive computing applications
. Pervasive computing applications requirements
. Performance measurement and Benchmarking
