Mobile and wireless networks have experienced an explosive growth during
the last few years. In fact, mobile and wireless networking is gradually
emerging as a discipline. Their impact ranges from medical, to military,
to industrial, to societal. This workshop intends to bring together
leading researchers and practitioners in this field of research to
identify the fundamental challenges and future prospects of mobile and
wireless networks, especially cellular networks, ad-hoc networks and
sensor networks. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
-Mobility Management
-Resource Management
-Multiple Access Schemes
-Network Planning and Deployment
-IEEE 802.11 and BlueTooth
-Networks in Motion (NEMOs)
-Multihop Celluar Networks
-Scalability and Capacity of Wireless Networks
-Energy-Efficient Protocols
-Topology Control
-Localization and Synchronization
-Software Dissemination in Sensor Networks
-Routing, Broadcasting and Multicasting in Ad-hoc Networks
-Data management, Data Delivery, and Query Processing
-Quality of Service (QOS) Issues
-Security and Privacy
-Performance Evaluation and Analysis
-Applications and Case Studies
