Call for Papers of
The Joint Conference of 10th Asia-Pacific Conference on Communications (APCC2004) and
5th International Symposium on Multi-Dimensional Mobile Communications (MDMC2004)
Aug. 29 Sep.1, 2004, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China
http://www.apcc2004.org

The joint conference (APCC/MDMC'04) of 10th Asia-Pacific Conference on
Communications (APCC2004) and 5th International Symposium on Multi-Dimensional
Mobile Communications (MDMC2004) will be held in the campus of Tsinghua
University, Beijing, China, during Aug.29-Sep.1, 2004. Since its first event in
1989, the APCC has become a flagship conference on communications in
Asia-Pacific region leaded by APCC Steering Committee(ASC) and technically
supported by IEICE, KICS, CIC, and IEEE ComSoc. The major objective of APCC is
to provide researchers and engineers in the Asia-Pacific region with an
opportunity to discuss topics related to advanced telecommunication
technologies and services, while at the same time, opening the door to the
world. It will focus on the major advances in telecommunications, both
happening now and to come in the foreseeable future. On the other hand, MDMC
provides an international forum for the discussion of researches in
multi-dimensional mobile information networks, which integrate a wide range of
information media, transmission media, and network systems to support a
substantially wider and enhanced range of services with respect to those
supported by current systems. The challenges include multimedia technologies,
high- mobility support, QoS, broadband wireless access, network architectures
for supporting global mobility, seamless services, and emerging future mobile
applications. Therefore, the joint conference APCC/MDMC'04 will bring together
researchers, developers, and practitioners working in all facets of
communications by paying more attentions on advanced wireless communications
and mobile computing.

You are invited to submit papers for presentation at the conference. Papers
describing original works in all aspects of communications are invited.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to, the technical subject
categories listed below:

ATM technologies Human interfaces Network security
