Established in 1993, the Symposium is an annual event organized by the IEEE chapter on Communications and Vehicular Technology The Symposium is aimed at presenting and discussing the latest scientific and technical advances in communication systems and vehicular communication technology. Invited Speakers * Prof. Joseph Boutros from ENST, Paris, France * Prof. David Simplot-Ryl from LIFL, Lille, France Awards Best paper awards will be given to the Best graduate student paper and to the Best Ph.D. student paper. To qualify for the award, the student has to be the first author of the paper and present the paper himself/herself. Besides, the wish to be considered for the award has to be stated when the extended abstract is submitted. Important Dates * July 30 2004: Submission deadline for extended abstract (max. 3 pages) * September 15 2004: Notification of acceptance * October 8 2004: Submission of the camera-ready manuscript (max. 8 double-column pages) * November 9 2004: Symposium Extended Abstract Submissions The Submissions have to be sent to the Symposium Chair.
