Technically Co-Sponsored by
IEEE France

University Sains Malaysia, Malaysia

GENERAL INFORMATION
DFMA is a new international conference born from the collaboration
between Network Research
Group from University Sains Malaysia and the «Laboratoire d'Informatique
de l'Université de
Franche-Comté», France. DFMA is technically co-sponsored by IEEE France
(pending approval).
DFMA will be organized alternatively one year out two in Besançon
(France) and one year out of
two in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). The series of annual Franco - Malaysia
Conference on
Multimedia will be initiated in 2005 by the University Franche-Comté,
and the University of
Science Malaysia (USM) to provide a forum for researchers in computer
science from both
countries and to promote interaction with researchers from other regions
as well. The first
conference will be held in Besançon, France, in February 2005 and the
second one in Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia during autumn 2006. In order to encourage closer
interaction between
academic and industrial networking research communities, we solicit both
academic
research papers and industrial contributions. The aim of this conference
is to group
manufacturers and researchers.
After Besançon was awarded first prize in the selection of France's most
"green" urban centre,
visitors flocked in from everywhere, curious to what the new celebrity
had to offer. this pretty city
is built right up against the Jura. This mountain chain stretches over
France and Switzerland,
close to ski areas.
