CALL FOR PAPERS
Wireless networks have experienced an explosive growth during the last
few years. The development of cellular and wireless local area
networks gradually makes the notion of ubiquitous computing a reality.
As one of the most advanced applications of wireless networks, sensor
networks share a similar definition, but put more stringent resource
conditions at each node. Researchers in the field are kept challenged
to design better architectures and protocols, and apply them to
industrial, consumer, medical, and military needs.
This workshop intends to bring together leading researchers and
practitioners to identify the fundamental challenges and future
prospects of wireless networks, especially cellular networks, local
and metropolitan networks, and sensor networks.
Technical topics include but are definitely not limited to the
following:
Wireless Local and Metropolitan Area Networks
Wireless Sensor Networks
IEEE 802.11 and IEEE 802.16
Bluetooth, ZigBee and UWB
Network Planning and Deployment
Performance Evaluation and Analysis
Roaming and Interoperability
Resource Management
Multiple Access Schemes
Scalability and Capacity
Power-aware Protocols
Routing, Broadcasting and Multicasting
Topology Control
Middleware for Wireless or Sensor Networks
Localization and Synchronization
Location-based Services
Mobile Security and Device Security
Mobile Agents
Industrial Applications
Case Studies
PAPER SUBMISSION
Authors should send one copy of their paper in either PDF or PS
format, with maximum 10 pages (including figures, tables, and
references) and minimum 10-pt font via email (sunmint@eng.auburn.edu).
Each page must be numbered. An abstract, 5 to 10 keywords, the
technical area(s) most relevant to the paper, and the corresponding
author's email address must also be included. All submitted papers
will be peer-reviewed.
