CALL FOR PAPER for 3rd International IEEE Conference on
Industrial Informatics, INDIN'05.
The website is: www.indin2005.curtin.edu.au
This IEEE Industrial Informatics Conference is a premier conference in
industrial informatics which brings together industry experts, engineers,
researchers and academics to exchange ideas and experiences surrounding
frontier technologies and methodologies, break-through and innovative
solutions, applications and process models.
Background and Objectives
As Automation becomes more wide spread and pervasive, the vision of
intelligent and collaborative industrial environments with dynamic, agile
and reconfigurable enterprise structures has become a reality. As
industrial systems have become more intelligent, automated, dynamic and
distributed and monitoring and control of operations has shifted towards
the Internet as is the case for sales and e-services. A key factor in the
success of such industrial environments is the creation of the
underpinning information infrastructure to carry out the required
services. The development of frontier technologies, that lie on the
intersection between Industry, business and advanced ICT systems form the
very foundations of Industrial Informatics.
This conference continues the highly successful series of IEEE conferences
on Industrial Informatics held in 2003 in Canada and 2004 in Germany.
INDIN is an annual conference and closely collaborates with industry and
business.
