Call for Papers
The first in a series of biennial international conferences on INTERNET
TECHNOLOGIES AND APPLICATIONS (ITA 05), will be held in Wrexham, North East
Wales, UK from Wednesday 7th to Friday 9th September 2005. The conference
will draw together researchers and developers from academia and industry
across all fields of Internet computing and engineering. Accepted papers
will be published in the conference proceedings. Suitable topics will
range from technical to applications and will include the following:

These topics, however, are only intended as an illustrative guide. Please
contact the conference chair (v.grout@newi.ac.uk) or programme chair
(r.picking@newi.ac.uk) for guidance.
Submission Details and Important Dates
Papers, up to a maximum of 6,000 words, are invited on any of the above or
related topics and should be submitted, via email, to the conference
secretary (d.oram@newi.ac.uk) as .doc or .pdf attachments. Final, camera-
ready papers must conform to the formatting rules to be found on the
conference web-site (http://www.ita05.org) and must not exceed ten pages in
length.
Submission deadline: 4th February 2005
Notification to authors: 8th April 2005
Camera-ready version due: 6th May 2005
Early registration by: 13th May 2005
Location
The conference will be hosted by the Centre for Applied Internet Research
(CAIR) at the North East Wales Institute of Higher Education (NEWI)
Wrexham, a full member of the University of Wales. Wrexham is a beautiful
Welsh town conveniently situated between the metropolitan centres of
Manchester and Liverpool in England and the tranquillity of the North Wales
countryside and mountains of Snowdonia.
