GENERAL INFORMATION
GLOBECOM 2005 will feature three keynote presentations, 9 technical
symposia, tutorials and workshops, design & developers forum, telecom
business forum, and a student program. Papers will be refereed and published
in the conference record. The proceedings will be available on CD-ROM.

Tutorials and Workshops: Half- and full-day training sessions on timely communication topics
Student Program: Student-oriented paper sessions and professional development workshops
Telecom Business Forum: Presentations and panels on business, management, and markets
Design & Developers Forum: Information sessions on industrial topics and issues

Submissions for Tutorials and Other Sessions are due March 1, 2005, 12 noon EST
Proposals and submissions should sent be electronically to the respective chairs.
Notification of Acceptance: July 1, 2005
Camera-Ready Materials Due: September 1, 2005, 12 noon EST

TECHNICAL SYMPOSIA

Papers are invited on all communications topics:    The following symposia are
offered: General Conference, Autonomic Networks, Computer & Network Security,
Communication Theory, Wireless Communications, Advances for Networks &
Internet, Signal Processing for Communications, Photonic Technologies for
Communications, Communication Protocols & Architectures in the Internet Era
Only original manuscripts that have not been published or submitted for
publication elsewhere can be submitted.

Submission of Manuscripts are due March 1, 2005, 12 noon EST
Electronic submission of full manuscripts for symposia papers should be made
online through the conference web site. Do not wait until the last minute to
upload your paper. A high volume of activity typically occurs near the
deadline. NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED BEYOND THE DEADLINE.

Submissions can begin after November 15, 2004
Notification of Acceptance: July 1, 2005
Camera-Ready Papers Due: September 1, 2005, 12 noon EST

Registration - NEW IEEE/COMSOC POLICY: All accepted Globecom 2005 technical
paper presenters must register at the FULL or LIMITED rate. For authors
presenting multiple papers, one FULL or LIMITED registration is valid for up to
three papers. Approved by the ComSoc Meetings and Conferences Board 24 June
2004.

VISA Instructions and Assistance - Do not delay in making VISA arrangements for
entry into the United States if needed. Such arrangements fare the
responsibility of authors and other participants.
