2005 Conference
The fifth IT&T conference will take take place on the 26th and 27th October,
2005 in the National Maritime College, CIT, Cork.
The theme of this year's event is "Information Infrastructures - Systems,
Architectures and Content". The scope of the conference theme is intended to
reflect the diversity of research in these areas by incorporating computing
and telecommunications systems, architectures and content.
In a new departure this year there will be two strands to the conference
calls - like previous years, there will be a call for papers, but also this
year there will be a call for submissions for an industry track.

Authors are requested to submit an extended abstract of 1500 to 3000 words
including preliminary/final results (in Word format) by 6 May 2005.

Industry Track Call for Submissions
IT Planning - Critical Issues 2006-2010
The IT development, support and user communities face significant challenges
on an ongoing basis in terms of identifying and delivering optimum IT-based
initiatives in the face of a constantly changing technological landscape.
The Industry Track of this conference seeks contributions from a broad range
of constituencies who can provide action-orientated recommendations,
direction and advice to key stakeholders in Ireland's IT community that will
be immediately relevant to the development of IT plans. Submissions will be
welcome from, but not confined to, the following sources:
Educators
Practitioners
Analysts
Researchers
Thought Leaders
The broad scope of the Industry Track theme reflects the diversity of
interests in these areas by incorporating computing and telecommunications
systems, architectures and content. A committee drawn from industry will
determine which contributions are most relevant in this context. Submissions
are invited on, but are not limited to, the following topics:

The conference will be structured around presentation sessions and panel
