International Workshop on Distributed Computing (IWDC) presents a forum 
for disseminating the latest research results in distributed systems and
networks. Organized since 1999, IWDC 2005 is the seventh workshop in this
series. IWDC 2005 will be held at the Indian Institute of Technology,
Kharagpur, one of the premier technological institutes in India.


SCOPE
-----

Technical papers describing original, previously unpublished results are
solicited in all areas of theory and practice of distributed systems and
networks. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

5.  Wireless and Mobile Computing
6.  Adhoc and Sensor Networks

18. Performance Modeling and Evaluation


PAPER SUBMISSION
----------------

Papers should not exceed twelve (12) single-spaced pages using at least
11-point font and one inch margins on all sides on A4/Letter size pages,
including references, figures, tables etc. Submission must also imply 
that the paper is not concurrently submitted elsewhere for publication 
(conference or journal). All papers must be submitted electronically 
through the submissions link in the conference website. Accepted papers 
will appear in a printed proceedings published by Springer-Verlag in 
the LNCS series. Some papers that are judged to have limited merit may 
be accepted as short papers, with up to six (6) pages in the proceedings.
At least one author of each accepted paper must attend the workshop.


TUTORIALS
---------

There will be tutorials on the first day of the workshop (December 27, 2005).
Proposals are invited for tutorials on relevant subjects. A tutorial proposal
should include the abstract of the tutorial and a brief biography of the
speaker(s). Please mail your proposal to the Tutorial Chairs at
somprakash@iimcal.ac.in or archan@us.ibm.com by July 15, 2005.
