Developments in wireless communication technologies and mobile communication
and computing devices have made it technologically feasible and economically
viable to develop a variety of innovative and exciting mobile applications
that will change the way we do business and the way we live.
Workforce mobilization, remote health care monitoring, access to environment
monitoring information, communication with machines like utility meters,
sensors, vendor machines, security equipment etc. are some of the examples
of possible applications.
This session focuses on the fundamental challenges arising in the design of
mobile applications as well as on the discussion of benefits and drawbacks
of such applications in terms of efficiency, cost, user satisfaction, social
impact, time savings etc. Our goal is to offer a forum for exchange of
research and experimentation results in this booming area. Presentations and
demos of real life applications and their impact on its users are
particularly encouraged.

o Security protocols and issues in relation to mobile applications and their usability
Submission of Papers
Participants of this session are required to submit the extended abstracts
not exceeding 4 pages according to the instructions given on the Eurocon web
site (www.eurocon2005.org.yu). Accepted papers will be published in the
conference proceedings.
Please send your papers directly to one of the session co-chairs by e-mail.
Important Dates:
Abstract or full paper submission to one of the session co-chairs: September 5, 2005
Notification of acceptance: October 3, 2005
Camera ready papers due: October 17, 2005
In order to ensure the session organization, at least one author or
co-author must register at the Eurocon 2005 conference.
