   VISA INFO
   US ENTRY FOR NONIMMIGRANTS
Recently, the US has updated its visa policies to increase security for it's
citizens and visitors. It will likely take you longer to get a visa than it
used to, and you will find that a few new security measures have been put
into place. For details that may apply specifically to your country, see
information posted by your nearest consulate or embassy.
For complete information on entry requirements for Temporary Visitors to the
US please see the US State Departments Web site at
   http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/temp_1305.html

Changes for entry by citizens of Visa Waiver Program & Participating
   Countries:
Starting October 26, 2004, visa waiver travelers from ALL 27 Visa Waiver
Program countries must present either a machine-readable passport at the US
port of entry to enter the US without a visa, otherwise a US visa is
   required

Visa Assistance from IEEE Communications Society
To obtain a visa to attend this conference, some embassies will request you
to present a letter from the IEEE Communications Society.

ComSoc can only provide letters for attendees who meet one or more of the
   following requirements:
     * Have submitted a technical paper for review
     * Are the author/presenter of an accepted technical paper, tutorial,
       workshop or application session
